Champlain Elementary School Fourth Graders, City Department Directors, Champ to Promote Green Up Day
Burlington, VT – In an effort to promote this Saturday’s 46th annual Green Up Day, Champlain Elementary School fourth grade students, together with Burlington Electric Department General Manager Neale Lunderville, Department of Public Works Director Chapin Spencer, Department of Parks, Recreation & Waterfront Director Jesse Bridges, and other City staff, will participate in a pre-Green Up Day clean-up. The Lake Monsters biggest sustainability advocate, CHAMP, will lend a hand, and Ben & Jerry’s will scoop ice cream out of the back of their Tesla.
